Capabilities

Assets we own,
not a contact list.

Handling equipment, trucks and warehouses belong to LTA. A shipment never waits on a subcontractor's availability: it waits on the tide, on customs, or on nothing at all.

What does Lagune Transit Abidjan do?

Since 1991, Lagune Transit Abidjan (LTA) has supported clients in running their logistics operations in Côte d'Ivoire. As customs clearance specialists, we put our expertise to work so that your goods are taken care of end to end, from clearance through to their final destination.

Beyond customs clearance, we offer an integrated logistics service covering inland haulage, port handling, shipping and warehousing. We work daily with the world's largest shipping lines — Maersk, CMA CGM, MSC and Hapag-Lloyd among them — and with many other international carriers, to provide logistics solutions that are dependable, efficient and matched to your needs.

Every year we handle around 500,000 tonnes of cargo, a large share of it rice, and we make more than 60,000 m² of warehousing available so that your goods are looked after efficiently and securely, bonded or non-bonded.

For more than 30 years our commitment has been to stay close to our clients, to keep full command of the logistics chain and to build solutions around what is actually at stake for them.

Does LTA handle customs formalities on behalf of clients?

Yes. We take charge of all your customs formalities on import, on export and under transit, in accordance with the regulations in force.

Our teams follow your file at every stage, from preparing the documents through to clearance and delivery of your goods. Our aim is to simplify the paperwork, secure your operations and keep your timings tight.

Does LTA subcontract its trucking and handling?

No. We run our own transport equipment, our own warehousing space and our own handling crews. That set-up lets us keep command of every stage of your operations, follow your files more closely and give you a single point of contact, from the port through to delivery.

What types of cargo does LTA handle?

We take on a wide range of cargo, including containers, breakbulk, bagged cargo, bulk, ro-ro and heavy lift.

We also offer bonded and non-bonded warehousing, along with unstuffing, stuffing, palletising, stacking and cargo preparation to suit your requirements.

Does LTA publish transit times and rates?

No. Every logistics operation is different. Timings vary with the origin, the destination, the administrative formalities and the nature of the cargo. Our rates are likewise set against the specifics of each file, so that the offer fits what you actually need.

For an estimate, simply send us the main details of your shipment. Our teams will come back to you with a tailored quotation as quickly as possible.
